GRRRRR A French television car crashed into Juan Antonio Flecha who then hit Johnny Hoogerland who crashed OVER a barbed wire fence. There were only 35km left on the ride and they were hauling in the FRONT group of five. Luis Leon Sanchez took the stage.

Hoogerland went to a hospital and was expected to receive 30 stitches on his left thigh; it’s unsure if Flecha will ride the next stage (will know in a few more hours).

After the stage was complete, both riders were awarded a prize given to the day’s most combative riders.
