FREE cycling jersey from Giordana

The shirt looks like this except white

While flipping through the August copy of Bicycling Magazine, I came across an insert that stated if you test drive a Cadillac CTS (any of the cars in the line up) at a local “authorized” Cadillac dealership, then you can “ride off with a premium cycling jersey from Giordana”.

Here are the full details. You’ll have to go pick up a copy of the magazine (or uh go find a copy of the magazine and yank the insert). BUT the good person thing to do is BUY the magazine (it’s what, $4?) and read it (it’s actually a pretty good read).

I haven’t gotten around to doing the test drive yet. If you do this, ping me with how the experience was and/or send pics of your shirt!

    • Hey Hey,
I checked on the website and it says:
      “Program update, posted 9/30/10
Thank you to the thousands of Bicycling readers who participated in this year’s Cadillac test drive program. GM OnCourse Information Services has finished the data processing for all of your redemption cards, and we will be placing the jersey order with Giordana once we’ve run final screening on the participant file and know exactly how many jerseys in each size we require for fulfillment. Please rest assured that if your card was received by OnCourse by the prescribed program end date that you will receive a jersey. For an order of this magnitude, we anticipate a production time of 8-10 weeks.”

So that was posted on 9/30, so I guess 10 weeks from 9/30 would be 12/15? If you still don’t have the shirt by then, let me know. I’ll send mean emails to Cadillac. 🙂

      • Hey, I think I may have ordered the worng size (L) and may need an XL. Any thoughts on if guys may do some trading when the jerseys start showing up? Any chance of contacting Cadillac directly?

        Thanks!

  1. Same deal. Its been 2 months plus and I have still not seen the jersey… Now I get emails from the local Cadillac dealer weekly.

    • Hey Josh,

I checked on the bicycling.com site and it says:

  2. Wow! Thank you for the update. I had given up. I truly hope to get that jersey. As soon as I found the card I scheduled a test drive the next day. Thank you for the post

  3. I realized after ordering that I needed an XL instead of the Large I ordered. Anyone interested in switching? I just spoke with with a Jennifer Grant (company rep) who informed me the estimated shipping date for the jerseys in end of the year.

  4. I subscribe to Bicycling magazine, (I love biking), and have received several free items through my subscription.
I went to my local Cadillac dealer and explained the program for the free jersey. I was honest with the dealer and told him I realistically could not afford a Cadillac and did not want to waste their time, I just wanted to be a rolling advertisement for Cadillac. They signed the card and also gave me a free, very nice key fob. I have since received the jersey and it is beautiful!!!!!
